In behalf of the Dr. Holmes, the moderators, and the organizers of the Margarita Holmes Forum anniversary get-together, we regret to inform our members that the event will not push through this Friday, November 30. Dr. Holmes has just gotten back from the US, and we've agreed that postponing said event to February, after Valentine's Day, will be best.

Please check this space for more announcements. Thank you.

Looks like it's not happening if the "core" organizers won't lift a finger. The Holmes-Baers are in the US again.

HI Tin,

Masyadong manipis para umabot tayo for late November or moreso early Dec. Dame kaseng Corporate Xmas parties so malamang mahirap humanap ng venue. Pero more important than the venue and the sched is etong mga questions:

1. paid ba ang pagpunta sa anniv? Meaning we will ask members to pay entrance fees, drinks, etc? Kung yes, magkano?

2. Do we get aponsors to re-launch the site so parang re-launch/christmas party (Im sure with the media mileage (Tarps on the party and banner ads on the sites for free?) that we can throw at them marami naman ang magssponsor)

3. Ilan ba ang aattend? Kase yan ang magdidictate kung gaano kalaki ang venue.

4. Do we have games? prizes? theme?

Myabe you can post some of the questions para masagot ng mga members. My thoughts!

So, if things aren't falling into place for the "organizers", why bother asking about anniversary updates in the first place? I am merely the messenger here, and I am more concerned with forum stuff. 'Nuff said.

possible pa din naman sigurong makahanap ng venue kung konti lang naman ang pupunta. hindi naman siguro lalagpas sa 30 yung aattend.

so dapat sigurong masimulan ang pag-aayos ng event kung kelan available si dra.

how much is everyone are willing to contribute for the event?

kung hindi naman bongga at simpleng get-together lang, paano kung toka na lang ng dadalhin (para kung may mag-drawing man e hindi naman malugi yung aattend na magbayad ng share).

share lang ng idea, baka di rin kasi ako makaattend dahil 1 week lang ako sa pinas. holiday pa natapat Sad

Great idea yung poll. meron na ba?

Part ako ng original organizer pero sige willing ako tumulong humanap ng sponsors to pay (partial/full or whatever we can haggle kung me budget and mga sponsors) for the anniversary.

Ano pwede nating ibigay na mileage sa kanila (Banner Ads? Gaano katagal sa site ipo post ad nila or willing ba na magbigay ng freebies?)

I can contact the original organizers and will come up with the venue. Patanong na din sa poll kung anong month nila gusto so we can have ample time to prepare. Thanks!

Hey guys!!!!

Dito na lang tayo sa Laguna...I have a friend na may-*toot* ng isang resort
dito sa Pansol, Laguna... Maganda ang location and for sure ma-eenjoy
nyo ang simple get together natin... We can do a lot of activities and
bonding w/ our Bros. & Sis. here in MHF... Videoke, Swimming, Nature Tripping...etc....
