Wink

I think the thread starter is rejoicing na kahit pano eh may mga babaeng nag transcend sa tradisyon ng patriarchy na nagdidikta na ang leadership status by default ay nasa lalaki---from religion to careers through to other social structures.

Superficial na lang mga binigay mong examples about "inequality", and I'm sure a lot of women you haven't "interacted" with would find it amusing, how you used "patas" and "dominate" in your last sentence :p

malaki na ang nabago from those days that women are only good as baby-makers, household keepers, uneducated and more... thanks to democracy! maraming pinto ang nabuksan ng dahil dito, at gusto kong maniwala na hindi ang pagkababae ko o ang pagkakalalake nya ang magsasabi ng galing ko o ng pakinabang ko. i believe education has a lot to do with women empowerment, the same as believing that God made His creation equally Smile but of course, because im a woman, i must be treated well, and that shouldnt be changed by any modernization Smile ... the same way that i respect men's need to feel respected in the society (being mindful of course of what's accepted and not in the society). both sexes will always have differences, and that's one thing we should accept, its like nature, its created that way, but it doesnt mean one must be put into corner in order for one to excel. we just have to act accordingly and respect each other's differences.

i go for girl power and women empowerment! and that's simply because im one Smile

try to come here at middle east... Laughing

Again, it's not too late to learn...or unlearn kung ano mang akala mo about women leaders Wink
